Newly created fashion for your vintage Cissy doll. Created with silk taffetas! Fashion includes dress, bolero and necklace! This fashion could take Cissy from a late fancy lunch to that early evening cocktail party!
Dress bodice is made with using white silk taffeta. It is my design with round neck style with short sleeves. It’s fully lined with white swiss cotton organdy (including sleeves). It closes in back with 4 square snaps that are accented with pearl buttons. The skirt is made with silk taffeta in a pale goldenrod yellow shade. The taffeta is lightweight and has a crisp hand, has that classic silk taffeta “rustle” sound! The skirt is made with measurements of a classic Cissy skirt- it is about 55” around with a 2” hand sewn blind hem, it is about 7-3/4” in length. It has an oversize bow at front waist. The bolero is made using a pattern of Cissy’s bolero from her “Lavender Box Pleat” fashion. This one is made using the yellow silk taffeta for the shell and the lining. A bouquet of velvet forget me nots accent the lapel. It comes with a double strand necklace. The necklace is made using Swarovski crystal glass beads in pastel yellow! Uses a magnetic closure.
While the skirt of dress displays great without a slip, it would need a slip for that flared look. It is shown with a slip under skirt in photos #1-#6. It is shown without a slip in last 4 photos- #7- #10. Slip is not included.
