Greetings!
Newly made retro style dress for your vintage Cissy doll.
Made from a pattern I picked up off the internet many moons ago. It sports a deep v-neck open front open bodice with seamless cap sleeves, and a striking wide collar.
Dress is made with vintage sheer nylon fabric in a hot pink with small white flocked dots. Bodice is lined with pink acetate taffeta (hot pink/american beauty shade). The wide collar is made with white silk taffeta.. Front closure with 2 snaps accented with vintage small white cat-eye buttons. The skirt style is a generous 62” around, ~7-3/4” long with a 2” hand sewn blind hem. Slip and panties are made with the same pink taffeta as bodice lining. Slip has gathered tulle and elastic waist. Panty legs are edged with white french val lace and have an elastic waist. Note-I make panties to sit lower on waist- below slip to reduce waistline bulk.
Another note- the dress fabric is a little on the soft side but crisp at the same time- it wants to flare way out on it’s own!!
I have this dressed planned in a couple of different colors!! I do have more of this pink fabric if you missed this one!
I think some photos may be off center-I apologize- I need to do some re-formatting. A challenge for me and my lack of tech/computer skills!
