Newly made chic fashion for your vintage Cissy doll! Main fabrics are a lovely white french tweed with silver metallic threads and tiny silver sequins. Also white silk taffeta and pale silver acetate taffeta! Fashion includes a sheath dress, knee length coat, pillbox hat and leather belt!!
Sleeveless sheath dress bodice is made with white silk taffeta and lined with white swiss cotton organdy. It closes in back with 4 square vintage snaps. Skirt of dress is made with the white tweed and lined with the white organdy. A leather belt with silver foil overlay that closes with an oversize rhinestone buckle sets off the classic dress! The knee length coat is straight style with long sleeves. It is lined with light silver acetate taffeta (sleeves are partially lined.) It has striking frosted gray fur trim all along front and neckline, plus sleeve cuffs. A pretty rhinestone bow brooch set off shoulder! Comes with a pillbox hat. A simple bow of shredded tweed accents the band! (I made the hat a bit big, along the lines of Cissy’s black Yardley hat that is worn more tilted to the back. I did not line the hat.)
A note on the coat sleeves- Cissy’s fingers need to be “worked” a bit at the ends as they want to catch in the tweed. Keep an eye as her fingers are pulled through end of sleeves.
