Reproduction of Cissy's 1957 "Taffeta with Polka Dots Shirtwaist Dress" in Red *Last One*

Today I’m offering a repro Cissy dress. It is made from a pattern of her original 1957 Taffeta with Polka Dot shirtwaist dress, this one is made with red silk taffeta. This is the last one I can make of this right now, as I am out of coordinating fabrics.
Bodice and skirt are made with a rich valentine red silk taffeta that is crisp! Bodice is lined with vintage red cotton organdy. Closes in back with 4 vintage square snaps (nabbed about a thousand vintage snaps I’ll be using for sometime now!) The cuffed sleeves, collar and bow are made with older (70’s-80’s or so) semi sheer white cotton with flocked red dots. The skirt is about 54” around with 2” hand sewn blind hem and is about 7-3/4” in length.
Note- The taffeta is crisp and holds fullness ok without a slip. But if you like that huge flare a slip is recommended. It is shown with a slip under skirt in all photos except last #4 -it is shown without slip. Slip is not included.
