Repro Cissy Black & White Polka Dot Cabana Set w/ Hat
Welcome!
Starting the summer season off with another Cabana fashion for Cissy! The set includes sun suit and open front over skirt. It is fashioned from a pattern of Cissy’s original Cabana fashion. This one is made as a repro of Cissy’s black and white polka dot (with hint of yellow!) set! The black and white dot cotton is newer cotton fabric. Sun suit is accented with black cotton rick rack around top and legs. It has ties that go around neck and closes in back with 2 snaps. (I tack the bust “V” to straps so they do not stick straight up.) It comes with the open front overskirt. Skirt has 3 rows of rick rack- 2 black and a yellow in center. Waistband flows into ties for front closure. Included is a sinamay straw hat (sinamay is a very loosely woven see through straw). Hat is accented with colorful fruit (most is vintage) and cotton spun mushrooms!
Note- use caution when removing hat from Cissy’s head as there could be a loose straw piece that might pull a hair out of place- I know this because I had one pull hair out of place on my Cissy.
