Newly made dress for your vintage Cissy doll. This dress is a repro of Cissy’s 1958 Shirtwaist Salmon Taffeta dress. This one is made with crisp silk taffeta in a salmon shade (Taffeta is pure silk).
Dress has open front bodice and is lined with swiss cotton organdy. Rows of French val lace on front bodice. Pointed collar. Elbow length sleeves with cuffs. Closes with 3 square snaps, 2 are accented with vintage rhinestone buttons in acrylic settings. A bow at waist (bow edges are raw). Skirt is about 54” circumference with 2” hand sewn blind hem and about 7-3/4” in length.
*Concerning the color, I am not seeing the exact shade on my monitor- it is not quite as “bright” or “dark” as it appears in person*
The skirt fabric is crisp and shows fullness without a slip, but using a slip does bring out fullness. It is shown with a petticoat in all photos except #5. Does not come with slip/petticoat.
