Newly created reproduction of Cissy’s 1958 “Pink Tulle Wrap” fashion. Listing is for gown and tulle wrap only.
It is made from the original pattern of Cissy’s gown (see last 2 photos). It is made with a nice light-medium weight light pink satin. In place of organdy lining I have lined it with a crisp bridal tulle in pale pink. The bodice has self cap sleeves, it has a round neckline that is gathered into sweetheart style. Closes in back with 4 square vintage snaps. ¾ length skirt is gently pleated into bodice. The wrap is made with a soft light blush pink tulle, snap closure with velvet cabbage roses accents.
While the skirt displays ok without a slip, it does lay more evenly with one. It is shown with a standard regular length Cissy slip underneath in photos. Slip is not included.
Note- in reference book photos it does not appear the bodice is gathered- my original pattern has stitching at neck where it is gathered. I tried to show in last photo #8.
