Newly made fashion for your vintage Cissy doll. Dress is made with a pretty light blush pink dainty embroidered eyelet cotton. Very “girly'‘ spring/summer dress for Cissy!
Dress construction- The bodice is pattern of Cissy’s Dancing Dress with a deep round neck and puffed sleeves ( I see this pattern, or similar used on some of Cissy’s other dresses!) Bodice is lined with white swiss cotton organdy. Closes in back with 4 square snaps that are accented with pink pearl buttons. A bouquet of velvet forget me nots at waist, and similar to the “Dancing Dress” a little bunch at shoulder! Skirt of dress is about a generous 60” around and 7-3/4” in length with a 2” hand sewn blind hem.
As always I like to show the contrast of having a stiff petticoat underneath compared to not having one. To bring out fullness of skirt a full slip is needed. It is shown with a slip in all photos except last # 8, it is shown without a slip. Slip is not included.
