Newly created dress for your vintage Cissy doll, created with silk taffetas!
Dress bodice is made with using white silk taffeta. It is my design with round neck style with short sleeves. It’s fully lined with white swiss cotton organdy (including sleeves). It closes in back with 4 square snaps. The skirt is made with silk taffeta in a peach shade (I bought as a blush pink but it leans more peach than blush). The taffeta is lightweight and has a crisp hand, has that classic silk taffeta “rustle” sound! The skirt is made with measurements of a classic Cissy skirt- it is about 55” around with a 2” hand sewn blind hem, it is about 7-3/4” in length. It has an oversize bow at front waist. It comes with a double strand pearl necklace. Pearls are glass beads. Silver tone box closure. (Note pics- when putting on doll the slide is held in your right hand when standing behind Cissy , I have it positioned how it would go in photo #6 My fingers are stiff and weak so I use needle nose pliers to pinch the slide when I put is on and take off)
While the skirt of dress displays great without a slip like in photo #5, it would need a slip for that flared look. It is shown with a slip under skirt in all photos except # 5-it is shown without slip. Slip is not included.
