Newly made dress for your vintage Cissy doll. Another addition to flocked fashion collection! Dress is made with vintage (early 70’s fabric- I purchased from original owner ). The fabric is lovely! It is a sheer pink nylon type fabric with soft white flocked dots and flowers. Fabric is clean with bright colors.
Dress is bodice is round neck style with puffed sleeves. It is lined with pink taffeta. Closes in back with 4 square snaps that are accented with pink pearl buttons. A small bouquet of linen roses accent off center of waistline. The skirt of dress is a generous 62” around with a 2” hand sewn blind hem. It comes with a slip and panties. They are made with the same taffeta that lines the bodice. Panties have the val lace accent-lace matches lace on bodice!
**Please read Notes**- I had a hard time capturing the exact shade of pink- I would say that photo #3 is best representation of it without the slip underneath. Slip underneath changes the appearance of the shade somewhat. I took photos without flash except for very last one. I make panties to set a little lower on the waist- under slip, reduces waist bulk. Also I make waistlines to fit a tad snug so slip should sit s bit under it. I used the taffeta for bodice lining vs organdy. This fabric was too sheer for organdy which is quite sheer.
Also I think some photos may be off center-I apologize- I need to do some re-formatting. A challenge for me and my lack of computer skills!
