Newly made fashion for your vintage Cissy doll. Pencil/sheath style dress is made with embellished french tweed, silk taffeta and chiffon!
Sheath style dress has round neck bodice made with silk taffeta in a blush/peach shade, it is lined with vintage peach cotton organdy. It has long sleeves made with peach semi sheer chiffon that have silk taffeta cuffs. It closes in back with 4 vintage square snaps, of which 3 have pearl button accents. The skirt is made with french tweed that has shades of peach, orange and white. Lovely embellishments of pearls, silver seed beads and sequins and iridescent threads are woven throughout. Some of the sequins form flower shapes! With this one I did leave a fringe hem on the bottom. Skirt is lined with vintage peach cotton organdy. The detachable sash is made with peach chiffon that matches the sleeves. It has a rhinestone slide buckle. It can be worn in various ways! I positioned it in the front to the side, and in the back.
Notes- on the sash- I don’t take it off completely, I leave it on the dress and just loosen it when taking dress off and on, then position and tighten when you want it. One other note is that the cuffs are snug going over Cissy’s fingers, so they need to be “worked” over her fingers. Her fingers are flexible and you can kind of bend them inwards to give a little more room. As with all these sheath dresses they need to be wiggled wup and on!
