Newly created fashion for your vintage Cissy doll. This dress is my own concept and design. It is made with silk taffeta in a peach shade. The taffeta is light and crisp. A coordinating fabric is semi sheer chiffon in peach.
The round neck bodice is lined with vintage peach organdy. It has long sleeves made with the semi-sheer peach chiffon, sleeves have taffeta cuffs. It closes in back with 4 square vintage snaps that are accented with pearl buttons. Taffeta skirt of dress has double box pleats. It is about 7-1/2” long, it has a 1” hand sewn blind hem (I shortened the hem style on this from the basic 2”). I added a silk type flower embellishment off center on waist. The taffeta in the photo looks shinier than it is dues to camera flash. It does have sheen but is not super shiny. Shown and displays fine without a slip.
