Newly created fashion for your vintage Cissy doll. Set includes a red and gold pleated skirt, gold metallic top and gold leather belt!
The skirt is made with vintage mid-century cotton fabric (fabric is 36” wide dating it 1940’s-50’s). It has a red background with muted gold metallic flower type design. The fabric is clean and crisp with bright colors, like new! It has double box pleats, a sewn on waistband, closes in back with one single vintage square snap. The top is made with (new) gold metallic jersey knit. It is similar to, and made from a pattern of one of Cissy’s original tops, but I make mine with a sewn on crew collar (vs Cissy’s original that has a turned down and stitched neckline). It has ¾ length sleeves, closes in back with 4 square vintage snaps. It has a holiday flower tacked on shoulder area. Also included is a detached belt. The belt is made with soft lambskin leather that has a gold foil overlay on one side. Closes with a round gold tone buckle. (Note on the buckle, the bar is quite tall in height. I usually use it for thicker leathers, this lambskin if a finer leather- makes it protrude a little more than I prefer. I have added a photo-last photo.).
