Newly made ‘Chanel’ style tweed suit for vintage Cissy doll. Made with a cotton blend tweed that has lovely pastels colors- pink, lavender, blue + others, it also has a fine silver yarn and tiny silver sequins woven in! To compliment the tweed I also use a silk taffeta in a very pale blush pink shade (color is described as magnolia!) Fashion includes dress, jacket, pillbox hat and fingerless gloves!
The sleeveless sheath dress is high round neck style. Bodice is made with the pale pink silk taffeta and lined with white swiss cotton organdy. Closes in back with 4 square vintage snaps. Skirt of dress is made with the pastel tweed and lined with the pale pink silk taffeta. The short jacket is made with tweed, has ¾ sleeve length, and is fully lined with silk taffeta. It has soft minky fur trim around neck. Closes below fur with hook and eye. A pair of rhinestone flowers accent hood site. The matching pillbox hat has a silk bow and a white ostrich plume. (Hat is unlined) Hat looks chic tilted back or worn down! Included is a pair of white fingerless gloves.
Notes** the dress turned out pretty snug. It has to be wiggled on and off. Push the skirt way up to get arms in and then pull back down. Jacket is also snug, especially working sleeves over gloves.
