Newly made dress for your vintage Cissy doll. Browsing my Cissy reference books I noted I have neglected creating an all bells and whistles sun dress for Cissy! Here is a creation with rick rack, lace, rhinestones and ribbons!! Made with a vintage cotton that is lightweight, it has pretty pink and wine rosebuds on an ecru background. I opted to pull out the deep rich wine shade with the accents.
Sleeveless bodice has a round neck, neckline is accented with older french val lace (not sure if vintage, but I bought as vintage), and a deep wine shade rick rack. Arms are accented with lace. A few scattered Swarovski stones in tiffany settings on front bodice. A wine satin ribbon sash gathered at front darts go around waist to tie in back. Closes in back with 4 vintage snaps that are accented with pearl buttons. The skirt is a generous 60” around with 2 rows of wine rick rack accents. (This is the only one I can make of this dress, I don’t have any more of the rick rack)
The skirt needs a slip for that flared look. It is shown with a slip under skirt in all photos except last # 7-it is shown without slip. Slip is not included.
