Newly created dress for your vintage Cissy doll. Made with vintage and modern silks! A pretty day dress that can easily go into early evening cocktail hour!
Dress bodice is made with modern white silk. It is my design, it has a round neck style with short sleeves. It’s fully lined with white swiss cotton organdy (including sleeves). It closes in back with 4 square snaps accented with pearl buttons. The skirt is made with vintage hand woven Thai silk (fabric width is 35” dating it 1950’s-60’s). It is in the - I’ll say fuchsia/magenta/deep hot pink family! The skirt is a full and generous 60” around with a 2” hand sewn blind hem, it is about 7-3/4” in length. It has an oversize bow at front waist. (Hand woven silk has natural slubs throughout). It comes with a 3 strand pearl necklace. Pearls are glass beads. I has an easy open and close magnetic clasp. (Just need to keep strands aligned)
While the skirt of dress displays great without a slip like in photo #4, it would need a slip for that flared look. It is shown with a slip under skirt in all photos except #4 -it is shown without slip. Slip is not included.
