Newly created fashion for your vintage Cissy doll. This dress is my own concept and design. It is made with silk dupioni in a light blue shade. Silk dupioni is a textured silk that is has a crisp hand. The coordinating fabric is semi sheer chiffon in light blue.
The high round neck bodice is lined with light blue swiss cotton organdy. It has long sleeves made with the semi-sheer light blue chiffon, sleeves have silk cuffs. It closes in back with 4 square vintage snaps that are accented with pearl buttons. The skirt of dress has double box pleats. It is about 7-1/2” long, it has a 1” hand sewn blind hem (I shortened the hem style on this from the basic 2”). I added a silk type flower embellishment off center on waist. The blue rose flower is made with real silk. Comes with a small matching fold over evening bag. Bag has a the blue chiffon for the shell and the lining is the silk dupioni. Shown and displays fine without a slip.
I took photos in natural light. When I used the flash it made the blue look washed out and really light in color
